Ruby Cottage
This restored cottage has a small, cosy living room with beamed low ceilings and a slate fireplace, small TV (with Freeview), video, DVD, CD player. Steep, narrow stairs lead up to the double bedroom which has uninterrupted views across fields. Both of these rooms form part of the original cottage built in the mid 19th century so have very low ceilings – tall people beware! Downstairs there is a single bedroom leading to a twin bedroom as well as a recently refurbished bathroom (with electric shower). Also on the ground floor is the spacious fitted kitchen with a traditional Delabole slate floor - the dining area leads to a pretty paved garden with mature borders. The kitchen is fully equipped with: four ring ceramic hob, built-in oven, half-size dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and refrigerator (with small freezer compartment). Bikes and/or surfboards can be stored at the back of the house (separate access behind the hairdressers).

Information and facilities
The normal change over day is Saturday (other days by arrangement over Easter, Christmas and long weekends in the low season). Pets are welcome by arrangement at no extra cost (two large plastic dog baskets available on request – bring your own pet bedding). A travel cot is available for hire. Bedding, linen and towels are provided. The cottage will be thoroughly cleaned before arrival and for guests staying longer than one week, a change of linen will be provided each week. The nearest shop is at the garage about 100 metres away, two other grocery shops are about 500 metres. Smoking is NOT permitted inside the house.
